November 15, 2025: Leon's Opens in Greenwich Village

We’re thrilled to share that the doors are now open at our sister restaurant, Leon’s, at 817 Broadway (corner of East 12th Street). The restaurant is named after Natalie’s great grandfather, Leon Hakim, and inspired by her family’s heritage, and our travels across the Mediterranean. Our vision for Leon’s is to create a convivial community gathering place that serves continuously from early morning until late in the evening; an all day, all night affair in the spirit of Anton’s.

Our menu spotlights Nick’s deep passion for Italian cuisine, as well as his thoughtful interpretations of treasured Hakim family recipes and culinary traditions passed down by way of Egypt and France. The beverage program, with Natalie at the helm, will highlight winemakers, brewers, and distillers we admire, alongside non-alcoholic refreshments and a full espresso program. We spent years hand-selecting the furniture, fixtures, and art that adorn the space with the intent of creating a lovely, transporting experience that evokes a quiet, weathered beauty, celebrates natural light, and preserves key architectural details of our building (circa 1895). Our intimate Private Dining Room (accommodates 20 seated guests, 30 standing) features arched ceilings, walnut-lined walls, and an antique Italian patinated-brass chandelier from the 1940s.
